The directory is free to read, link and cite. No login, no paywall. When you cite a record, link back to its page on startupnation.io and keep its source link and last-checked date.

Read one record at a time. Each IP may send up to 150 requests per 10 seconds; above that the IP is blocked for 10 seconds and gets a 429 with a message and retry_after_seconds. Do not bypass limits, rotate addresses to avoid them, or probe the service.

Do not copy the whole dataset, mirror the site, or resell or republish the data as your own list or product. We may block traffic that does, and we use test records to spot copies.

A keyed API is coming after v1. Key terms, limits and any pricing will be published here before keys are issued.

We work from public sources. Every record links to its sources and shows a last-checked date, and some will be out of date or wrong. The data is provided as is, with no warranty. Do not rely on it alone for investment, legal or hiring decisions. See an error? Write to [email protected].

Company names, logos and marks belong to their owners and are shown only to identify the company. Logos are served by LogoAPI.sh.
